WESA CHAU

Wesa looks young but her list of achievements is enough to make anybody feel old.

Wesa is a regular commentator on television and radio and has published a range of articles and opinion pieces on international education, cultural diversity and Asian Century.  She has received the following awards and honours:

Wesa is a director for Carers Victoria and InTouch – Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence, and formally Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria and 3ZZZ Melbourne Ethnic Community Radio.  She was also a member of the Ministerial Overseas Students Experience Taskforce.

She has 10 years of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and specialises in Asian cultures. Some of her previous professional roles include, senior manager, project officer and management consultant in industries ranging from healthcare, IT, aged care, disability and international education.

She holds Masters in Business Management; Graduate Diploma of Law; Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce (specialising in software engineering and marketing), and is a qualified teacher.

GEOFF ROWE

Geoff is a skilful senior manager with many years experience in large, medium and small organisations and in sectors, including IT, community services, health, sports and industry. Having served as a councillor, Geoff is an expert in local government.

He specialises in business administration, change management, human resource management, marketing and organisation systems.  He led a successful change management program within a multicultural environment, through empowerment and inclusive practices.

Geoff is a leader and has a strong interest in developing leadership skills in others. He mentors and provides support to new leaders in a number of sports organisations.  He managed the Australian Track and Field team at the Beijing Olympics and uses the skills he gained in this and other roles to foster the next generation.

Geoff is a director of a number of Boards, including the Maroondah Sports Club, and he is the Chairperson of Festival in the Foothills.

He holds a Graduate Diploma of Business (Administration) and an accounting qualification.
